The Yin Yang Symbol and the Bible
"[Jesus] redeemed the good people in the world as well as the evil. Light and Darkness, life and death, right and left, are brothers of one another. They are inseparable. Because of this neither are the good good, nor evil evil..." - Gospel Of Philip
A Yin Yang Symbol has numerous meanings. It can symbolize how two opposites can be exactly the same, in a different context and environment, which is also what the Bible teaches us about Jesus and God itself.
Example of opposites ending up the same:
One person might come from a childhood where she was spoiled by her father, she enjoys it so grows up and demands that men give to her and spoil her
Another person might come from a childhood where she was neglected by her father, she hates it so grows up and demands men give to her and spoil her
This example shows us that two polar opposites, in the end, can become the same. The Yin Yang symbol teaches us this by showing us two opposites; black and white; looking exactly the same.
The Yin Yang symbol contains a dot to show that inside each situation and person, the opposite also exists. For instance; we might think we are doing something "good" to create gardens for people to eat. However, the yin yang dot inside of that action, is that we might not be doing good at all. We might overpopulate the world and cause mass murder. Therefore, the World Church preaches to do what we think is best in every situation; but then to pray, and deal with the consequences, however unexpected. The World Church views those who claim to be "good," especially "all good" with ultimate suspicion, as these entities are not admitting to a lack of Divine knowledge of the consequences of their actions, such as the dot in the yin yang symbol portrays. Only one who was aware of everything (aka - an external God) and all knowing, who was able to look down on our carpet and see all the threads, not just a few, would be able to know that.
The Yin Yang Symbol is a symbol of humanity. It teaches us that there are at least two sides and two points of view to everything (do not forget there are often more than two sides, as two sides being offered with no third choice can be a control/enslavement tactic). In each human, there are at least two choices and sides in every situation, regardless of if the human admits it or not. One person might claim to be "all good" while denying that they also contain the side which wants to harm others for selfish gain. If this side did not exist in every human, churches would not talk endlessly about "temptations." No person is all good or all bad, we are a mixture of our choices between the different sides. This is why the World Church sees the Yin Yang symbol as the symbol of a human being, a being with two sides, which we are constantly choosing between. Will we choose selfishness or self-sacrifice, and in which situations?
The Yin Yang Symbol is a Symbol of God: The Yin Yang symbol shows the two sides of God, which also, like everything, has two sides. One side shows God as a kind, benevolent, non-speaking/non-enslaving, all forgiving, all loving, all accepting, non-judgmental, unconditional love God - in other words, a permissive, spoiling God. The other side shows the "Satan" side of God - the strict, make people be "good", punish certain behaviors, side of God - much like a strict parenting God. Therefore, the Yin Yang symbol demonstrates the two sides of God, and may also symbolize the male and female aspects of God/humanity. (However we should not forget that there may be genders other than male and female in the universe, and God would not be restricted.)
The Yin Yang symbolizes Suffering vs. pleasure: Within our lives, we live constantly within the suffering plane, and then within the happiness/pleasure plane. However, notice that the Yin Yang Symbol teaches us that they both look exactly the same, even though they are complete opposites. This shows us that there is good news/bad news in the exact same situation; and we can choose to experience the suffering (bad) side of things, or the pleasure (good news) of things. This is a personal choice of freedom and should never be dictated; because one person might say "why are you taking this badly, don't suffer over it." However, this person is now curtailing freedom. The person who is choosing to suffer may do so because the consequence of enjoying that situation, is to stay stuck in it, which they do not want; they want something else which more easily makes them happy and that they desire. The Bible also speaks about suffering vs. happiness, and the Gospel literally means "The Good News." Therefore the Bible is also expressing what the Yin Yang symbol does, that of good and bad news, (looking at the suffering vs the happy).
The Yin Yang Symbol is a symbol of balance. It shows that two things which are opposite, yet the same, can exist in harmony, wrapping around each other and creating harmony. Here is an example of that:
A woman is jealous that her husband is staring at a young woman
The husband then becomes jealous of his wife staring at a young man
The two are the same, yet opposite. They must forgive each other because they have both done the same thing.
Now forgiveness and harmony can exist between the man and woman, who are the opposite yet the same side of the Yin Yang symbol
The Bible also is a symbol of Balance, showing us that the two sides of God exist in Harmony - the forgiving all loving side, and the punishing (aka Satan) side.
The Yin Yang symbol is also a symbol of white and black getting along, being the same even though opposite in color. This is a great symbol for humanity and our different colors. It also shows us that opposite sides can see what the other brings, and find a way to cooperate and get along with each other.
Example of two sides getting along:
Gay people remain gay, but stop pressuring the other side to be gay nor even to like it. They respect that the others have their life choices towards heaven or hell, and that if the entire planet were gay, there would be a huge loss of "straight" interactions.
Straight people remain straight, but stop pressuring the other side to be heterosexual. They respect that the others have their life choices towards heaven or hell, and that if the entire world were controlled to be heterosexual, there could be a huge loss of potential pleasure and love.
Now, both sides exist and respect each other even thought they are making different life path choices
The Yin Yang symbol shows us eternal life. Its circular structure is that of eternity. A circle goes on around forever and ever with no end. The Bible is also a circle, and may describe a life - the Beginning of the life is Genesis, the end of the life is Revelations. Then, there is re-birth, both inside of life (being born again describes new revelations in your life that changes your life into something similar, but with new expanded revelations) and after life, perhaps into re-incarnation or something else. The Bible speaks often of eternity and eternal life, which is the same thing the circular structure of the Yin Yang symbol is expressing.
The Bible as a Big Yin Yang Symbol - the Bible, when looked at as an entire entity, not broken down into verses which may or may not be corrupted/only one side of the story, is a big Yin Yang Symbol. The Bible can be opened so that the back and front cover are touching each other, and we see the circle of the yin yang start to physically form. God itself states "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." Revelations is the beginning and the ending of our circle. This circle could represent the eternal life and birth of a human being, it could also represent the ages of our planet, or both.
The bible contains many references to the Morning Star being both Jesus and Satan, Venus and Mary Magdalene, The Queen of Heaven and Lucifer. The bible is also an ancient astrological document, having recorded old stars and gods from ancient religions, or maybe being a copy of those religions. The Morning star originally referenced the Goddess Venus. She, as a star, rose once in the morning and once at night, which is the perfect yin/yang expression of night and day, of up and down, the sine waves of existence and our choices between two sides of happiness and unhappiness and more. Mary Magdalene was associated "with the planet Venus, a shining symbol of the sacredness sexuality and love." "Ishtar, the planet Venus, appeared as the queen of heaven, who as morning star was goddess of war and as evening star was goddess of love and harlotry," as was Mary Magdalene, the most loved Disciple of Jesus.
But why would Jesus return as Lucifer? The World Church believes that a reincarnated Jesus would feel utterly betrayed by having been slaughtered, then having his teachings twisted (for instance; his name being used as a way to excuse sin, which he specifically warned against in revelations 2 by warning the churches not to be like the Nicolaitans. Who were the Nicolaitans? They were people who thought they could "do evil deeds yet be justified before God by serving God’s law in his mind." Jesus hated this and said he hated this many times in the Bible. Therefore, any religion which is using Jesus' name to say that his death cleared them of sin, is likely a religion Jesus would hate. Many Christian religions use this idea. They say that Jesus died to absolve them of sin, and use Bible verses like this to justify it : "Jesus Christ died for our sins"
However, we can see that it does NOT say "Jesus died and this ABSOLVES our sins" - it says he died "FOR OUR SINS" which could also mean "BECAUSE OF OUR SINS" or "he died to show us something about our sins, to help save us out of our sins." the World Church stands by the idea that Jesus self-sacrificed himself and endured horrible suffering for us, to show us for thousands of years, that not everything is pure selfishness, and caring about others above and beyond the self does exist. THIS would be why he died "for" our sins - because the instant we realize that love does exist, we are no longer embroiled in the hell of everything being uncaring, everything being selfishness, everything being suffering - which is the mindset which causes a lot of offensive harm from the person who feels they are defending themselves or simply don't need to care because no one else does. Therefore, Jesus did die FOR our sins - to help us escape them and hell - rather than to ABSOLVE our sins, which is something else entirely.
If you were Jesus, wouldn't you be angry about being slaughtered then being used as an excuse for doing the things he hated? He didn't want to be used as an image for Pharisee religions, nor to be used as an excuse to sin. Wouldn't you be upset that your image was being used to create PHARISEE control/slave religions, the exact same thing Jesus hated and rebelled against? If Jesus was reborn, it's very likely that this extremely hurt, angry, upset, and betrayed Jesus would hate religion as it is today, and would run right to Satan to ask for some punishing of the wicked, or those that harmed him, as he sees it. Therefore, the Bible stating that Jesus comes back as Lucifer, makes 100% sense.
Now, we return to the yin yang symbol. Jesus as God, returning as Satan, would show the bible to be a huge Yin/Yang symbol and perhaps an expression of God as Satan and Satan as God... different sides of God. Could Satan be the suffering side of God, the sad upset side that wants to punish, just like all of us have and do when we are suffering? Could the God side of god be the pleasure side of God, the happy, allow everything to exist as it does, just as we all experience? If we are created in God's image we can expect that God would be exactly like us, and experience the same moments of suffering where we wish to punish others, then other moments where we see through the suffering to what is really happening, and experience happiness and tolerance.
