Love
Some people claim that no one else cares about you, and that everything on the plane(t) is SELFISHNESS.
This is not true. Below are two stories which prove this is not true.
This is Matthew 16:21 from the Bible:

This is Matthew 16:21 from the Bible:
Therefore in the Patriarch Christian Religions, Jesus KNEW he would be killed, and chose to do so anyway, to show us that Love does exist. (The World Church staunchly refuses to accept even a little bit that it was so people "could sin" as the false prophet churches teach).
To know "he" would be killed and to go do that anyway, is called "self-sacrifice."
Self sacrifice is when you go against your own wishes (Selfishness) to preserve the interest of another's wishes, which shows us that not everything on earth is SELFISHNESS, and true love for another can exist. *Note: one does not have to self sacrifice to love, this is just to prove to you that there is more than just selfishness on earth and inside us and others.
The story of Jesus Christ sacrificing "himself*" on the cross reminds us that others can care about us beyond and above their own selves, which proves that love and caring for others does exist.
Jesus knew he would give a gift to the world in showing us love does exist, but that does not necessarily mean he was not upset with a world that chose to kill him.
Here is another story of self sacrifice/love:
On September 3, 2010, Brian Wood self sacrificed himself, turning his car to make sure his side hit an oncoming truck in an effort to save his wife and unborn child, The maneuver worked; Brian died but his wife Erin and their unborn baby, survived. Love for others can be permissive, but also might be strict.
Examples:
Permissive Love: When you are happy for your lover being hugged, handed a gift, or doing what they want that makes them smile; being happy for their
happiness. One might even be happy when they "cheat" sexually because you are enjoying their happiness and pleasure.
Strict Love: When you have to do something harsh to help the one you love, such as slapping their hand from a hot stove, or leaving them so they
can become financially independent.
A cat gives her baby strict love when she abandons the baby so it can grow up on it's own. So, not all acts of harshness are unloving. This would explain why, sometimes, if you believe in a God/ess, it is sometimes strict and harsh, and why, sometimes, permissive.
One can also love someone, but not love or enjoy their actions.
The World Church believes that Love is the base root of everything. If we look through all of the so called "negative" emotions to see hurt, fear and need for love (excluding overly selfish, or "spoiled" wants) we see Love and need for Love.
For example, if one country or person is warring with another, but they "care" or are "infuriated" when the other party looks down on them. Likewise, because they are hurt, they also fling insults on the other side, BECAUSE THEY CARE WHAT THE OTHER SIDE THINKS OF THEM so reacted. A person who does not care, would not react in such emotionally heated injury. This means they care about the other side and what they think, they want love and respect from the other side, and so need for love is what is at the base of it all.
The Church believes the base root of all Creation may be love, but that here on Earth we have almost lost Love. Love may be almost gone but the Church does not believe it can ever die fully or we would cease to exist, out of desperation, depression, and harm of each other.
*The church uses the word "him" and "himself" to refer to Jesus to help Patriarch religious people understand Her. Jesus is proven to be a maligned killed off Goddess elsewhere in this site
